Regional Groups

VSA members also participate as members of regional superintendent groups. There are five such groups. They are:

Champlain Valley
Northeast
Winooski Valley
Southeast
Southwest

Each region elects a representative to the Board of Trustees. Terms of office are two years with Champlain and Winooski Valley groups electing in odd-numbered years and the Northeast, Southwest and Southeast regions electing in even-numbered years.

Each regional group meets regularly and elects its own officers and establishes its own operational procedures.

Champlain Valley: Elaine Pinckney, Chittenden South Supervisory Union and Judy DeNova, Chittenden Central Supervisory Union
Northeast: Steve Urgenson, Orleans Central Supervisory Union
Winooski Valley: David Bickford, Orange-Windsor Supervisory Union
Southeast: Ron Stahley, Windham Southeast Supervisory Union
Southwest: Joan Paustian, Rutland Southwest Supervisory Union
